Spherical Housing Phantoms are ideal for:
- Site qualification for clinical trials
- Periodic quality assurance
- Testing of new quantitative MRI methods
The housing holds vials inside a doped water bath that is designed to produce a highly homogeneous magnetic field environment, and is optimized for a broad range of acquisition methods, including SSFP and EPI approaches.

Spherical Housing Phantom Features
- Contains 6-18 vials that can be easily aligned with the main magnetic field
- Phantom vials are filled with gels* to minimize motion-related artifacts
- Asymmetrically positioned vials to avoid left-right and superior-inferior vial identification ambiguities
- Doped fill solution to minimize water-fat swap artifacts
*All vials are gel-based except the 100% PDFF vial
